I am reading “A snicker of magic”. So far it’s a good book. The story is that Felicity Pickle, the main character, can see words. She is a word collector. She and her family are always on the move. They never seem to find a great place to stay to call home. Then they go to the place where Felicity’s mother grew up. People say that this town used to have magic in it. Felicity doesn’t believe it until she meets a special person. Together, they try to bring back the magic. The truth was, it wasn’t missing. It was just hiding.
Today we watched a video on global warming in science. The video was about an hour and 40 minutes long and we only have 90 minutes in per class. So while we were watching the video, the bell rang. We all got our stuff and left the room. After science, I have P.E., so I had to put everything in my locker before I went. They don’t let you bring your device into the P.E. room, so I left my phone in my locker. After P.E., I had to go to English.
My favorite subject in middle school is English. It’s my favorite subject because I like the things we learn in English. My favorite teacher in the school is Mrs. Cini. she’s my favorite teacher because………… well, I don’t really know. I like her a lot. Mainly because she is my chorus teacher.
Today I finished the book “Son”. It was a really good book. This book was the fourth book in the Giver Quartet. The other books in the quartet were: “Giver”, “Gathering Blue”, and “Messenger”. The story was that Claire, the main character, after giving birth to her son at age 14, tries to find him. While finding him, she ends up shipwrecked at an unknown place and loses her memory. After a few years, she finally regains her memory, but in a painful way. She prepares to leave to finish the search for her son. She finds her son, but it seems that she only gets to spend a few days alive to see him. He doesn’t even know that she is his mother! It’s a sad and happy ending, but I won’t reveal it to you! ;}
I got my first phone on the 23rd of November. The day before my little brother’s birthday. This year, his birthday was on Thanksgiving so me and my brother were waiting for something on the 23rd. We went shopping for my little brother because his birthday was the next day. My mom and dad let me bring my phone to the store. When we were there, we got my brother his birthday cake and some games of his choice.
